When Google Adsense strikes back

So as you guys know, 8Asians.com uses Google Adsense, hence the banner ads anywhere in an attempt to generate revenue. Those of you who aren't webmasters might not know that there's a feature called "competitive filter," which in theory keeps you from showing competitors sites by domain name, but in practice prevents sites you don't want from showing up.

In my case, "sites you don't want from showing up" equate to "Bride purchasing sites from China." Unfortunately, many domains are registered, and this has to be done by hand, so if you guys see a domain on the site that's inappropriate, let me know.

And interestingly enough, right now on this Ning.com site, the Google ads are:

"African American Radio"
"Classic Western Movies"
"African American Grants"
"Sunday Night Movies"
"Caring for Ethnic Hair"

Because, you know, words like "asiankesses" and "lonelyjapanesegirls" naturally conjure up images of African American radio and ethnic hair...
