Too liberal? Too conservative? Not enough younger people? Should we all just change our avatar images to import racer models? (I'll admit, we'd generate more revenue that way.)
I visit your site every day too, and I really enjoy reading about stuff from 8 (well, slightly more than 8) different Asian American / Asian Canadian / Asian Pacific Islander perspectives. The combination you've got really works for me :)
I enjoy reading the articles and can find some connection even though I'm only half asian. I guess an inclusion of issues/readers outside of North America would be good too and broaden its audience. (like the UK for example !) More visitors can't be a bad thing can it ?
I'm another half-Asian reader... I like the site...
As for "too conservative/too liberal."
I kind of hope you guys keep exploring BOTH sides of those issues... I'm not a conservative, I guess maybe a "centrist/moderate," but I actually feel bad that many conservative issues are just tossed aside because of the overwhelmingly negative perception of conservatives right now.
I tend to like to see the extremes of both sides... It generally makes for more "spirited" debate, and seeing the extreme ends usually helps me clarify the problems with either side of an issue.
As for general stuff... Maybe something for your "half-Asian/Americanized" brethren? I don't even know what those issues might be... but I'm sure these "multi-cultural issues" are becoming more commonplace in Asian communities (I blame all those "white girl/Asian guy and white guy/Asian girl threads!)
I know cultural ties are important to most Asians... But, what about the proverbial "twinkies?" I know it's usually a term of derision, but how about addressing the "merits" of this kind of choice. Full integration WITHOUT bringing along "old world traditions?" Actually, I'd love to seen an interview with someone that feels that way.
And... this is probably already covered excessively elsewhere on the web.. but what I really enjoy are "Asian trends." But, I still think it would be interesting to see an "Asian take" on the sometimes strange youth trends happening overseas... I think there tends to be a fair amount of "misunderstanding" when Asian trends or traditions are covered by American websites...
Oh yeah... import car models are good too... You should put some on the writing staff.
